Just after accompanying his son to participate in the China Tengda International Rally held in Xinjiang at the end of May, Robby Gordon arrived in Shenzhen by plane on June 1st, solely to attend the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Auto Show. After completing the test drive and getting familiar with the venue over the past two days, Robby Gordon was interviewed by the reporter from the Shenzhen Special Zone. 
The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Auto Show was truly wonderful. During these few days of the exhibition, our outdoor exhibition area also attracted many people to visit. Children experienced remote-controlled cars, saw the novel monster trucks and witnessed the exciting car drifts. The visitors had a wonderful time. Attending the exhibition in Shenzhen was undoubtedly the right choice. He said. 
Robbie Gordon comes from a pure racing family in the United States. His great-grandfather was a famous racer across the country. When he was young, influenced by his father who was also a driver, he entered the world of off-road rally racing. Since then, Robbie Gordon has achieved numerous outstanding results in various races throughout his decades-long racing career. 
As early as at the age of 13, Robbie Gordon began participating in competitions. He successively won honors in various events such as the Bahia Cross-Country Race, the Indy Car Series, and the NASCAR Grand Prix, and was hailed as one of the most versatile drivers in the world. In the world's most famous and toughest Dakar Rally, Robbie Gordon became the first American to win the car segment championship of this event at the age of 36. In the Dakar Rally, he won a total of 10 stage championships and became a legendary figure in the American racing world. 
Apart from winning championships in various races, Robbie Gordon is not content to be just a racing driver. He has also established his own racing brand. The Speed UTV (Utility All-Terrain Vehicle) showcased at this auto show is produced by his company. 
"The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Auto Show is a great platform with a wide range of exhibits. In Shenzhen this time, we saw many electric vehicles and hybrid cars, as well as emerging technologies from Chinese automakers and futuristic concept cars." Robi Gordon said. "As a manufacturer of racing cars, we are now also using cleaner fuels. Through the auto show, we can learn from other automakers and incorporate their advantages into our own vehicles." 
When it comes to his feelings about Shenzhen, Robby Gordon said that attending the auto show was not his first visit to the city. A few years ago, he had already been to DJI, and that experience also left a deep impression on him. "Back then, I visited the exhibition at DJI and saw their advanced drone equipment," he said. 
Robbie Gordon stated that both Formula One racing and car rally events are held in China. Many people also enjoy racing. The racing sport has a wide development space in China. He hopes that in future auto shows held in China, more elements of racing can be seen, including both road cars and off-road vehicles, thereby accelerating the continuous development of the racing industry.
